OUR LADY OF LOURDES GROTTO

Constructed on February 2005 in Sitio Bangkal, Brgy. Maninang, Sapian, Capiz, Philippines, Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto is nestled on the peak of the hill owned by the Villanueva Family. This particular area kept appearing on Atty. Jose O. Villanueva's dreams, inspiring him to build the said Grotto over giant boulders, rocks and stones (as if placed and arranged one over the other by an unexplainable force).  It exhibits a calming ambiance which includes various resting areas, sheltered umbrellas and shades made of indigenous materials available in the premises, with bamboo and wooden benches scattered along the way.
